@Suitsnappy… our (AUS) internet was just ‘taken over’ by the gov, and no it’s not good, especially when the right-wing religious groups are right behind it so as to help determine which content to block. Can’t wait for the protests to break out! It surely wouldnt be much better if big business took over it either, but better nonetheless.
The way I see it, we have 2 option: 1) Let the corporations control the Internet. 2) Let the government control the Internet. Is it or just me or do NONE of the available options look very good?
